Until we meet again
We celebrated Mom’s 90th birthday on January 1 with a rose bowl, a nod to her long-time desire to go to the game in Pasadena.
Two months ago we celebrated my birthday with German food and craft beer. Mom toasted her eldest son with her first baby beer.
A month ago Mom suffered a crippling stroke that led to her last breath in this life on April 1.
Today, on my wife Dee’s birthday, we are slowly picking up the pieces to carry on. We are working with family members to sort through household items and bring to mind memories of an accomplished life.
We will celebrate a memorial service for Mom on Thursday, not to say goodbye but to honor her memory and look forward to seeing her again in the eternal presence of our Lord.

Ron, may God comfort you. You are doing the right thing by cherishing all those wonderful memories.
We are so blessed to have those memories to hold on to.
