Notes from my interview with Verda Olsen

Goldy Verda Case, my paternal grandmother, was born on October 15, 1899 in Sheridan Township, Mecosta County, Michigan. Verda, as she was known, was the daughter of Edwin Case and Cynthia Loretta Green. She married Aden Loyal Springsteen on October 15, 1918 at her family’s home in Titus, Sheridan Township, Mecosta County. Aden died on March 6, 1941 from injuries sustained as a passenger in a car-train collision. After Aden’s death, Verda married Fred Olsen on July 22, 1945 at Sheridan, Montcalm County, Michigan. Fred died on January 19, 1975. Verda died at Greenville, Montcalm County on July 27, 1984.
